The best thing about this Monday is that I get to look forward to small group at our house tonight! Our small group is a 20s & 30s fellowship group that meets for dinner and fellowship 2 Mondays a month. It is definitely one of my favorite things. I truly believe that this group brings people to Christ through friendship. I just love it!
Before small group fun though, we had to get out of bed, which I was not happy about! Last night my son, LB, woke up 3 times. You see, my babies have not woken up after they go to bed in over two months. I think this had something to do with the no avocado day we had yesterday.
Today’s breakfast was something different. Since I had no bananas again I thought ahead and baked a sweet potato yesterday afternoon and used it in this mornings breakfast.
After breakfast I made it to Cardio Strength Intervals class at the Y and got an awesome workout in. I have a feeling I will have sore legs again in the morning.
Post-workout I had a glass of milk with half a scoop of protein powder.
My plate included:
-Morningstar Tomato Basil burger topped with hummus, avocado, feta cheese
-broccoli slaw (which I didn’t end up eating)
-leftover roasted veggies (which are yummy cold)
-corn on the cob
-spoonful of Lew’s Annie’s organic mac n cheese
After lunch I flossed and brushed all the corn out because I had to get my teeth cleaned. After the dentist visit I rushed all around to the grocery store, back to the house to cook, clean and feed babies in two hours.
I had an awesome evening with some awesome friends and feel so blessed to be where we are in our lives!
