Sunday’s are always interesting! No two are ever alike. This morning I slept in a little and only made it to one church service. (If you are a new reader, my husband is a pastor of two Methodist Churches one starts at 9 am and the other at 11 am). In order for the babies and me to make it to both churches I have to get up at 6:00, shower, eat, get ready, feed both babies and get them ready and pack the diaper bag up! I am exhausted before we even get out the door. Lew is always an amazing help but on Sunday mornings he is busy getting things finalized for church and I like to give him that time.
Anyway, my breakfasts on Sunday are normally quick so this morning I had a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats with Almonds topped with a banana and skim milk
After church we had lunch with an awesome couple that I am so glad to have met here!
I had a grilled chicken salad with honey mustard on the side.
After lunch Lew watched the babies and I went out for a girls afternoon. I bought the babies their first pair of shoes
I also had my first iced pumpkin spice latte.
Before ordering I sampled some Starbucks via coffee (vanilla flavored) it was super strong and left a major after taste. The first few sips of my latte I did not like but once I got the coffee taste out I really loved it!
Do you like your favorite hot coffee drinks on ice?
Dinner tonight was with more friends!
Supreme pizza, salad and a bread stick! Holy cow this pizza was so good! If you are a local reader and have never eaten pizza from Brick Oven, try it now!
By the way, Lew and I love all of our friends! We have only lived in our town a little over a year and it is so hard to make friends in new places (especially when you are the preacher!) but we have made friendships here that mean the world to me!
Now I have one of these in the oven…
Spaghetti squash…I will let you know how it goes…my plan is to have it for lunch tomorrow!
I hope you all had as good of a Sunday as I did!
