I know I have been a little distant lately but we have been super busy! Between traveling, eating, cooking, opening presents and entertaining babies I have not been able to sit down at my computer until just now. In fact, I did not read one facebook news feed yesterday! This is unheard of for me. So after a few days of craziness I am hoping my life and therefore my blog is going to get back to normal. I am also going to be changing the blog up a little bit and have what I think are very exciting additions to my blog in the next few days. My husband is also going to be taking on a bigger role in Ash & Lew Plus 2! I think everyone will enjoy it.
I am also going to be changing up the format of my blogging a little bit. When I first started my blog (which wasn’t that long ago) I document everything I ate. After doing that I really started to be more aware of what I was putting in my body. I like the idea of food journaling but I do not like the idea of having to write everything down and count calories. So, taking photos and blogging about what I eat really helps me. After everything I ate over the last few weeks I need a little more control in the food realm and this is how I am going to do it. So, be ready for some serious food documentation along with lots of baby photos, lew stories and workout ideas. There is also talk of some more half marathon training that I am looking forward to.
Now…enough business for today: onto more Christmas!
Our Christmas celebration is finally coming to an end. For the last two days we have celebrated Chrismtas 2010: Part 4! Upon arriving at Lew’s parents house we have eaten amazing food and opened presents for the last two days.
LB and Daisy loved their first Christmas with Mama Jane and Daddy Doc!
After round one of present opening Lew, Millie and I headed outside to start of the grill for Christmas dinner.
Dinner: An awesome salad bar!
My dinner started off with an amazing salad. It was topped with strawberries, onions, red peppers, and roasted pecans.
One slice of Charity’s homemade bread…my favorite!
For dinner I had more salad, a sweet potato, asparagus casserole and Lew and I split a filet of of King Salmon and a filet minion. Yum!
An awesome day with awesome food!
Tomorrow we will be traveling home so normal life will be returning soon!
