Hello blog friends! I hope you are enjoying your Wednesday. I have enjoyed mine other than the mad cleaning that has been involved. I don’t know about you but between two adults, two almost toddlers and an 80 lb. dog I am finding it impossible to keep our house clean. I am the kind of person who hates stuff! I dislike clutter and if I don’t use it than I don’t see a need to have it in the house. However, my husband is the exact opposite. Therefore, when it comes time to clean it is more of pick up the stuff we have brought in the house. I am thinking the only answer to this lack of real cleaning is going to be giving my kids away for a weekend (grandparents, I hope you are reading this
) and really deep cleaning our house. Hopefully by the end of summer. Anyway, that is what I have been thinking about all day. Oh, the joys of being a grown up.
Anyhow, last night Lew and I decided to set the alarm for 7:00 in an attempt to wake up before the babies and get an early start on the planned cleaning. This was a major fail! I did not sleep well and when the alarm went off Lew quickly reset it for 8:00. This time change thing is great for the babies sleeping longer but I am having a hard time getting up at our usual 7:00. Once we were all up smoothies were made, eggs were scrambled, pajamas were changed, workout clothes were put on, coffee was drank, Today Show was watched and somehow we made it to the gym before 10:15. Now when the babies were actually babies I made it to the gym by 9:00 because they would need to eat again by 11:00 but we now rarely make it before 10:30. That is ok with me though. After a quick trip to wal-mart to pick up some essentials, diapers and protein powder, we headed home for lunch. LB and Daisy ate their new favorite, grilled cheese and strawberries. Lew ate a huge salad with cottage cheese and I had leftover pumpkin chili.
Today I added cilantro and it was quite tasty!
Well I hope you have an awesome evening! We are having a concert tonight by The Weatherfolk at church and I am very excited!
