Hey Friends! After a long week I think I am back in action! I hope you have missed me because I have sure missed sharing with you.
Since being back in town Lew and I have cleaned up our office and it is now usable again and have started sorting and cleaning up our basement a bit to get ready for a yard sale. This all makes me very happy.
I hate junk. I would like to consider myself a minimalist but I definitely am not. I do very well at not buying a lot of unnecessary things but it seems I am still always trying to clean out. I think this comes from having two babies in our house! Between the ever revolving clothing and toys it seems like we always have too much stuff. So, the last two days we have been on a mission to clean up and minimize where we can. And for us, I think we have done a good job. Now my goal is to continue to go through and price items for our yard sale. We are going to have our sale on May 14. This isn’t far away but I don’t think I can handle boxes of stuff piled up for long. I am very excited about getting rid of stuff we don’t need anymore. I am hoping that by advertising boy and girl clothes from NB-12 months we will get a good turn out of people. Where we live yard sales are a huge thing anyway.
Lew and I have never had a yard sale so all morning we have been discussing what to price the baby clothes we are going to sale. After reading a couple of forums I confirmed that the cheaper the better. People don’t seem to go to yard sales to buy name brand clothing for half price. They are looking for cheap. I think I have done an okay job so far.
If you are a “yard saler” how much do you like to pay for kids clothes?
