Hey Friends! We have had such an eventful day here in the Ash & Lew Plus 2 house! It is so nice to finally sit down. Thankfully for the iced coffee I drank at 6:30 I am still up and able to collect my thoughts and write a post for all of you to read! Today started off the official start to our very busy week.
This week is Holy Week and in our house it is one of the busiest weeks (if not the busiest) of the whole year. Lent is coming to an end and we are looking towards Easter Sunday. Tonight we went shopping with a couple from church to purchase the food for the Sedar (Passover) meal we are having on Thursday night. Tomorrow night is normal Wednesday night church activities. Thursday dinner and Maundy Thursday service, Friday Good Friday service, Saturday 2 egg Hunts and Sunday Sunrise service plus two church services! Whew! I am tired just thinking about all of that. I am trying my hardest to focus on the meaning of this week and not all of the things I have to do.
On to the herbs…
This morning while LB and Daisy were taking their morning nap Lew and I headed outside to put some finishing touches on planting our garden and do a little watering. I had purchased some herbs at the farmers market but we had ran out room in our actual garden so I decided to put them in pots. I am hoping that works out well. Here is what we have…
Rosemary
Stevia (I am not sure what exactly to do with stevia that doesn’t come in packets but my goal is to use it.)
I believe this is called Sweet Lemon Basil
Basil
After buying 3 lbs of broccoli today I was very excited to see this!
We also have blueberry bushes we have added to our garden.
