To any readers that may have come back for my first blog post since January, Welcome Back! Hopefully we will be making this a regular occurrence!
A lot has changed in our family lately and I am really looking forward to sharing that journey with you. In the beginning of this blog it was all about me. I wanted to use this blog as a way to keep myself accountable and learn to get healthy. What I have learned over the last 6 months is that stepping away completely from blogging was what I needed. Since the last time I opened my blog I have lost 25 pounds and have turned into a running/yoga lover! The last time I was here I was still trying to find where I fit into my fitness routine and was not sure where I could see myself improving. Over the last six months I have grown to love my body and myself more and more and am very happy with life and the direction my family is heading.
Since once again embracing my life and making changes to benefit my marriage and my family I believe that I am ready to be open with my life once more and share the journey we are embarking on with our friends and family. And this is exactly what I plan on doing with Ash and Lew Plus 2 from here on.
Lately our life has consisted of a lot of traveling, the lake, dollywood, gardening and lots and lots of snuggling!
Life is crazy, my big fancy camera rarely makes it out of the bag, I love my iphone and instagram and am embracing them both as a way to bring my world to you. As Lew and I embark on buying our first home, changing career paths and raising our wonderful twins I want to bring all of that to you so you can follow each step of the way!
I am pretty sure I have the two coolest kids in the world…
I am still having a lover affair with coffee…
Daisy and I at splash country. She finds it unbearable to smile while she is wearing her “swim coat” (aka life jacket).
Enjoying the lake!
LB with his first foul ball.
Daisy taking care of her baby
LB, Daisy and their best buddy Julian…the three sweetest 2 year olds in the world!
Lots of green beans…no, not from my garden but I broke every one of these. This is quite impressive for me. Normally when people give them to me I let them go bad and have to throw them away. Not this year…nothing is going to waste.
Welcome Back!
